Celebrate a night of live art exhibition, good music and dance as Abdul Latif & D~Squared Dance Theater kick-off their official Launch Party with a night of fundraising. Artistic Director of D~Squared Dance Theater Abdul Latif, supported by the Rockefeller Brothers Foundation and Lincoln Center Institute, invites you to toast the early achievements of D~Squared Dance as you dance to the beats of DJ B Duron (http://www.facebook.com/pages/DJ-B-Duron/139318756133430) on March 7, 2013 at Secret Lounge in Chelsea from 6-10pm.
Abdul Latif & D~Squared Dance Theater are excited to be celebrating a host of milestones and achievements thus far for the company’s launch season, beginning with the announcement of D~Squared’s Fiscal Sponsorship by Fractured Atlas. With the enthusiastic reception of the company’s debut of (20/20) in January 2013, Abdul Latif & D~Squared Dance Theater are now gearing up for the premiere performance of “There Are No Tangents: Where You Been?” on Mar. 21-24th . Please join us on Thursday, March 7th to spend a few intimate hours raising your glasses and spirits as the company’s raises funds to enable D~Squared Dance Theater to continue to create visionary expressions of Urban-Contemporary dance.
